Harvest Lunch 2016

Building a tradition is what we are all about. For a few years running now, we’ve invited our lovely members to join us at the winery, among the vines, for an annual harvest gathering around the table. We collaborate with an amazing chef to highlight our wines, and something magical always happens. This year it was the Ahi Tuna pairing with our Fortuna Merlot. Delicious and unexpected!  All this happens while grapes are being delivered to our crush pad. It’s an amazing (sometimes insane!) time of year, when you can see and feel the workings of Mother Nature all around. We coax our winemaker Peter Heitz out of the cellar to hang out with us and tell us a bit about the wines on the table. What a full-hearted day of good company, great food (thanks Jessica Lasky!) and some stellar wines (with a sneak peek of the forthcoming 2014 vintage). Thank you so much to all who joined us. We’re grateful to have you as part of the Turnbull extended family!
