How To Support Napa & Sonoma Counties after the 2020 Fires
Posted: October 7, 2020
Clear skies and full hearts on this Wednesday afternoon as we’re busy hosting tastings and making wine. This is an incredibly lucky position to be in, to be sure, especially as our heart aches for friends and fellow vintners who lost so much in the recent fires. The enduring spirit and camaraderie of the Napa Valley are extra special at a time like this, and we’re proud to call this place home. Few words can aptly sum up our gratitude to the first responders who continue to work around the clock to keep our community safe, so to them, we simply say: THANK YOU.
Many have asked us how they can support those affected by the fires. Apart from opening and enjoying your favorite bottle(s) of Napa and Sonoma County wines, here is a brief list of charities and organizations we support:
The Community Foundation of Sonoma County Resilience Fund which serves Sonoma County.
The Napa Valley Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund, which serves Napa County.
TheĀ Latino Community Foundation California Wildfire Relief Fund, which deploys contributions to Latino-led organizations supporting families displaced by the current wildfires across the state of California.
Direct Relief, which provides N95 masks, medicine, and other resources to healthcare agencies and first responders in wildfire-affected communities across California.
Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch provides disaster relief, medical care, food, and supplies throughout Napa and Sonoma counties for all animals displaced as a result of fires.
